PT. Parkland World Indonesia is committed to avoiding any activities that endanger workers, the workplace, or the environment, in accordance with the requirements set by customers and the applicable national and international laws and regulations on Occupational Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE). PT. Parkland World Indonesia’s management is committed to:
Providing a safe, comfortable, and healthy workplace for all employees by applying gender equality aspects as a form of injury and health disorder prevention in the workplace. This must align with the organization's goals, scale, context, and the specific nature of health and safety risks, opportunities, and environmental impacts.
Providing a framework for setting and reviewing HSE objectives, which are documented, implemented, and maintained.
Complying with applicable laws, regulations, and other requirements.
Eliminating hazards and reducing HSE risks.
Implementing, improving, and continuously enhancing the HSE Management System.
Establishing, implementing, and maintaining consultation and participation processes for all workers by applying gender equality aspects at all applicable levels and functions, including, where applicable, worker representatives, in the development, planning, implementation, performance evaluation, and improvement actions of the HSE Management System.
Setting environmental objectives and targets based on evaluations of environmental aspects, taking into account the characteristics, scale, and impacts of activities, products, services, and ISO 14001:2015 standards.
Protecting the environment by implementing energy-saving programs and improving energy efficiency, conserving water including water-saving and recycling, reducing hazardous and non-hazardous waste, and lowering emissions of conventional air pollutants and greenhouse gases.
Communicating this policy within the organization and making it available to relevant interested parties including all employees, employee representatives, and others (contractors, suppliers, visitors, and guests) under the company’s control to ensure everyone understands their HSE obligations.
Committing to implement the HSE management system in accordance with ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018 standards.
Committing to promote gender equality through gender-responsive health and safety practices. This involves recognizing and considering differences between male and female workers and addressing potential gaps between genders.
Committing to educate and support reproductive health rights and women’s healthcare needs in the workplace.
Committing to gender-responsive health and safety practices, including but not limited to reviewing the impact of gender roles on health and safety; analyzing job risks that are dominated by specific genders; developing sex-disaggregated health and safety data; incorporating findings from health and safety assessments into workplace policies and actions; and involving all genders in decision-making processes that affect their safety and health at all levels.
