As a concrete step to improve access and raise public awareness about the importance of family planning, the Kick-Off of the Simultaneous Family Planning Services at Workplaces in 2025 was officially launched. This initiative is a collaboration between the Ministry of Population and Family Development, the Central Java Provincial BKKBN, the Central Java and Jepara Regency Offices of Women Empowerment, Child Protection, Population Control and Family Planning (DP3AP2KB), and PT Parkland World Indonesia Jepara as the host.
This program specifically targets workers, especially women and couples of reproductive age, by providing a range of family planning services—from Long-Term Contraceptive Methods (LTCM) such as IUDs and implants to non-LTCM methods such as injections, pills, and condoms. These services are provided directly in the workplace to ensure easier access and increased participation.
The Kick-Off event was attended by various stakeholders, showing their strong support for family development programs, including:
1. Regent of Jepara (in commemoration of International Workers’ Day 2025)
2. Central Java BKKBN
3. Jepara DP3AP2KB
4. Jepara Manpower Office
5. Central Java Provincial Manpower and Transmigration Office
6. Central Java Provincial DP3AP2KB
7. Central Java Provincial Health Office
8. APINDO (Indonesian Employers Association)
9. BKKBN’s Family Planning and Reproductive Health Team (KBKR)
10. Indonesian Midwives Association (IBI) – Jepara Branch
With the spirit of "Family Planning is Cool!", this event is expected to help foster healthier, more prosperous, and higher-quality families for the future.
